About The Position

The Box Office Ticket Vendor, under the direction of the Entertainment Manager, is responsible for selling tickets and taking reservations for all entertainment events. The position is responsible for providing attentive, cheerful, courteous, professional customer service to all customers, internal and external, striving to always exceed their expectations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must have working knowledge and be able to use word processing and spreadsheet and data base software.
• Must have basic bookkeeping skills or the ability to learn bookkeeping.
• Must be able to operate or learn to operate a cash register.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have proper telephone etiquette and typing skills.
• Must have excellent public relation/customer service skills and be able to exhibit friendly and positive attitude and establish and maintain effective communication with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
• Must be able to work with minimal to no supervision.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly in person, in writing and by telephone and email.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written directions, interpreting rules and office procedures.
• Must be able to work under pressure and handle difficult situations.
• Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Native American preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create excellent customer relationships and providing top notch customer service by following the company's Customer Service Standards.
• Sell tickets and take reservations for all entertainment events.
• Provide basic information on the schedule shows, dates, times, and ticket prices to customers.
• Maintain accurate accounting of sales and paperwork.
• Responsible for running and reconciling ticket sales and reports.
• Attend meetings and trainings as needed.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.
