About The Position

NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to handle a new, dedicated routed route within our established Evansville, IN operation. Your Mission
Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
Problem-Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
Route Details & Schedule (Evansville to Indy Area)
This is a new opening and offers a guaranteed rate beginning 04/13/2026.
Compensation: $2,000 per week (per route commission).
Schedule: 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Start/End Time: 7:00 PM Start, typically completing the route by 4:00 AM or completion.
Required Vehicle: Box Truck (BT).
Weekly Mileage: Approximately 1,800 miles.
Daily Stops: Averages 5 stops daily.
Geographical Area: Evansville to Indy and back.
Sorting: Yes, sorting required.
Vehicle Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Box Truck (BT).
The vehicle must be 2016 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.
To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:
Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
Vehicle: Own a vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
Pre-Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process before beginning work, which includes a: Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
