About The Position

The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving the corporate sales goals in his or her assigned branches. The Sales Manager will reside in a home branch within the district and will be required to communicate and work very closely with all sales representatives to achieve monthly quotas.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the industry and the technology of home automation.
  • Have or qualify for an alarm monitoring license.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Must possess great communication skills when talking to external and internal customers.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated in fast paced MAS environment.
  • Must have the ability to view and use computer equipment for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Stress levels are moderate in regard to work associated with security, safety, and the nature of emergency responders.
  • Work shifts as assigned based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire and train sales representatives using the 8-step selling cycle.
  • Direct and coordinate activities that will result in more self-generated sales.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings to increase production.
  • Provide ongoing daily coaching and leadership to each sales representative.
  • Hold reps accountable to assigned activity and production levels.
  • Distribute company provided leads per the company’s lead distribution policy.
  • Conduct monthly performance evaluations.
  • Oversee sales representatives required participation in the company’s CRM (Sales Force).
  • A minimum of 60% of the SM’s time will be spent in the field working with sales representatives to ensure proper application of the company’s sales process, presentation, customer experience roadmap and pricing model.
  • Organize networking opportunities in each market (EX: Chamber of Commerce, etc.)
