About The Position

The coil brazer and Header Brazer are responsible for brazing coils and headers per blueprints before sending the coils to the next steps in the process.

Requirements

• Brazing or welding experience, preferred
• Detail-oriented
• Work independently
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to move at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
• Wear the necessary PPE for the position

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize what work is to be performed using SAP
• Inspect the quality of the coil by checking hairpins, fins, and overall aesthetics of the coil, and cleaning off any excess oil
• Braze the coil joints and connections so that they are leak-free
• Per the print, attach headers and braze accordingly
• Ensure the quality of brazes and that all joints and connections are brazed before sending to the quality test tank to test
• Confirm out in SAP
