About The Position

Spring Gardens Assisted Living North Ogden , a beautiful senior living community , is seeking dedicated & motivated team members to join our team as Servers. Under general supervision of the Dining Supervisor, the servers performs a variety of duties involving preparation and service of balanced meals to the residents of Spring Gardens. The Servers will possess a genuine interest in and concern for the food service industry and for geriatric, chronically ill and/or disabled persons. Must be able to communicate well and take direction to ensure top notch service to our residents. If you are passionate about working with seniors in a team-orientated work environment, then we want you to help us continue to provide high quality senior services in a manner that love and compassion. As a Server in our community dining, you help create an incredible dining experience, build relationships with residents, and consistently deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant. Requirements

A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Food handler's permit, or the ability to obtain.

Nice To Haves

Food service experience preferred, but NOT required.

Responsibilities

Take food orders, summarize, and write tickets accurately and promptly.
Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
Maintain a clean dining and service area for all.
Help with bussing tables and washing dishes at the end of food service (where applicable).
Reset tables for the next meal service.
Adhere to all policies and procedures of Spring Gardens Senior Living.
