About The Position

Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their team in St. Louis! Responsibilities: Provides high-level project design Review project documents and design quality for complex projects Use technical expertise to apply advanced engineering concepts and develop approaches to solve complex issues Ensure delivery of completed designs that meet quality standards and project objectives. Conducts research in areas of considerable scope and complexity Advises/lead staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements Works collaboratively to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work Assist with developing standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team Mentor/train junior staff Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering Master’s degree preferred 6+ years of experience PE License Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design and bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX) Extensive knowledge working on MoDOT bridge projects Working knowledge of MicroStation software Salary is commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • 6+ years of experience
  • PE License
  • Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design and bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX)
  • Extensive knowledge working on MoDOT bridge projects
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation software

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
