Our Newest Opportunity: Summary: The Broker Service Specialist supports the Ancillary Center of Excellence team by assisting with group quoting, member activity, renewal processes and additional administrative functions that are designed to improve and enhance workflows, timeliness, and broker responsiveness.

  • 2+ years’ applicable job experience, preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm, preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance carrier websites, preferred
  • Proven track record in customer service; preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Familiarity with database applications, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Renewal Process - works with outside brokers to assist in the renewal process with communications, follow-up, and distribution of applications to carriers.
  • New group implementation - works with AM’s to assist in the implementation process with communications, follow-up, and distribution of applications to carriers via carrier portals or hard copy submissions.
  • Quoting Tools - uses carrier and vendor quoting tools to complete and/or coordinate quotes and proposals for all new and renewal business.
  • CRM - updates transaction information, follow-ups and services for all accounts and policies in CRM tasking system, including applications and appropriate client data.
  • Client or Broker Data - may be asked to work with benefit communications and/or technology teams to confirm client data
  • Works with AM’s to perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
