About The Position

Assists in the daily functions of the department as needed: answering routine payroll/benefits questions, entering data into the HR information system, typing of various correspondence and other HR functions as needed. Recruiting – Manages the day-to-day functions of recruiting; including but not limited to posting job requisitions, managing process with indeed and glass door, supporting managers with day to day recruiting functions and screening applicants as needed. Orientation – Manages orientation process and conducts the actual orientation for all new hires. On-boarding/Off-boarding – performs all functions related to the onboarding and offboarding of employees included but not limited to background checks, e-verify I-9, TB, licenses etc. Reviews, tracks and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, including professional licensures, certifications. QAPI – prepares data and attends QAPI meetings. Will work in conjunction with the HR Director and Executive Director to coordinate annual training. Will be responsible for ensuring accuracy between payroll and vendors by following the checklists and processes. Oversee the Associate Safety Program for the building. Assists the HR Director and Executive Director with employee relations. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings/seminars as necessary. Performs all routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs as needed including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave, occupational health and safety, and training and development. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance. Unemployment – Handling the offboarding process with accuracy. Coordinates with the Executive Director and HR Director on all unemployment claims filed within 48 hours of notification. FMLA –All FMLA documentation needs to be sent to the HR director immediately when received for processing. FMLA will be tracked and processed in the HRIS system. Benefits – Review benefit information at orientation with new hires. Enroll newly eligible employees in accordance to our policies and practices. Garnishments-Provide all garnishment requests to the HR Director for processing. Payroll – Assist the HR Director with questions regarding Payroll. Compliance – Ensures compliance in all areas of HR. Responsible for keeping the HR Director informed of all compliance related tasks. Responsible for keeping the compliance calendar updated for your location

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Human Resource Administrator or Generalist
  • High school diploma required
