About The Position

The Budget Manager will lead the budget process and assist with strategic analysis needed to guide the company’s growth. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this individual will provide insightful analysis to aid decision-making, support acquisition integration, and help establish robust budgeting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of budgeting or FP&A experience.
  • A minimum of Three (3) years in a SaaS or technology and high-growth or highly acquisitive environment.
  • Strong budgeting skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and SaaS metrics.
  • Proficiency with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Maxio, SQL, and Excel/G-Sheets.
  • Experience in post-acquisition integration.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think analytically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a passion for driving organizational excellence and delivering value to shareholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of subscription metrics (ARR, MRR, GRR, NRR) and SaaS financial modeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Serve as the system owner for planning software, driving efficiencies, enhancing functionality, and continuously optimizing tools to support scalable financial planning infrastructure..
  • Develop and refine financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, cash flow and other key metrics to support growth and acquisition strategies.
  • Own consolidated variance analysis and performance reporting, identifying actionable insights and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Lead post-acquisition financial planning integration, including assessing financial impacts, establishing budgets, and implementing standardized reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with functional leaders to understand key drivers of the business, support their budgeting needs, and offer insights for decision making.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and enhance reporting frameworks and planning processes to improve budget accuracy, governance, and scalability.
  • Continuously improve and streamline reporting systems, enabling quick response to evolving business needs.
