(Courtesy, Accessibility, Responsiveness, and Efficiency) DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Budget Supervisor under the direction of the Budget Manager, and in accordance with court policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles, trains all staff on their duties and ensures that all daily work is accurately completed by established deadlines. This position will also assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and in accordance with legal and organizational standards. The Budget Supervisor will work closely with the Budget Manager and other court staff to maintain financial integrity and assist in strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial management, budgeting, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTable and Power Pivot functionality
  • Proficient in the utilization of various financial, general ledger and procurement software

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a public sector environment is highly desirable.
