We have a full-time 2nd shift position available, which includes a rotating weekend schedule and some holidays. Normal Shift: 2:30 pm-12:00 am; 40 hours/weekly including rotating weekends. Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Motor Vehicle Operator's License valid in the state of Missouri
  • Fundamental knowledge of janitorial equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals

Responsibilities

  • Provide great customer service to the staff and public.
  • Perform general cleaning and custodial tasks (emptying trash, cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, using floor equipment, etc.).
  • Maintain facilities and equipment in an orderly, clean, safe, and secure manner.
  • Set up and take down tables, chairs, and other equipment for scheduled events.
  • Ensure the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility before and after events.
  • Open, close, and secure City facilities safely.
  • Ensure that building equipment functions properly and notify management of maintenance issues.
  • Assist with basic repairs using standard hand tools.
  • Shovel and salt walkways during snow and ice conditions.
  • Assist at other City facilities as needed.
