About The Position

Acuity is seeking a Building & Grounds Intern to assist with building and grounds maintenance for Acuity properties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs general building maintenance / custodial tasks including cleaning, painting, and preventative maintenance. Maintains grounds including mowing, fertilizing, watering, turf repair, mulching, and pruning. Plants, fertilizes, weeds and waters annual flowers. Performs landscape construction projects including planting and transplanting trees, shrubs, and perennials. Cleans and places interior silk plants and galleria displays. Shovels snow. Sets up and takes down special events including the Acuity Health Challenge, Acuity FunFest and Town Hall venues. Regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• Building and landscape maintenance experience preferred.
• Takes initiative.
• Understands instruction, asks questions, and receives feedback.
• Willingness to work outdoors in any type of weather.
• Possesses a record of safe work habits.

• Drivers License, preferred.
