About The Position

As a Building Maintenance Assistant at JLL, you will be an essential member of our facilities team, supporting the day-to-day operations that keep our client's property running smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in building maintenance, facilities support, or related hands-on work (or demonstrated aptitude and strong willingness to learn)
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent comprehension skills with ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn CMMS systems for work order management

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems
  • Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, or electrical
  • Experience with 480-volt electrical systems
  • Previous experience in a commercial building or facility environment
  • Trade school coursework or vocational training in building maintenance or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist with minor building maintenance tasks including basic repairs to walls, fixtures, and building components under the guidance of senior maintenance staff
  • Support the maintenance team with routine inspections of building systems and equipment, learning to identify potential issues before they become problems
  • Help maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials; assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas
  • Respond to basic work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues to senior technicians
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Update work order status in real-time using CMMS (SAP) systems and maintain accurate documentation of completed tasks
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
