What does a Building Maintenance Technician do for us? Under the general direction of the Facilities Maintenance Leader, this individual is responsible for safe, efficient operation and maintenance of buildings and systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and security. Additional responsibilities include: Providing support to other Maintenance Technicians as needed Operating and maintaining building systems Identifying and prioritizing building and facility maintenance concerns Providing information to leaders regarding conditions of equipment and facilities Helps maintain budget and administrate maintenance contracts Builds and maintains trust of customers Takes the time to listen and resolve issues that directly affect their comfort and productivity Build trust with customers in the department’s ability to resolve issues Being self-motivation In addition to the meaningful work we do, we offer work-life balance, competitive pay and benefits, an employee incentive plan, and both a 401k employer-match and a pension plan, making Idaho Power one of the best employers in the state.
