This is a part time position (20 hours per week). Employees must be flexible and able to work any 8 hour shift within our regular business hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The schedule follows a rotating pattern: two shifts during the first week and three shifts during the following week. We offer 1 week of on-the-job training and the hours during training will be 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18+ years of age OR older
  • Knowledge of basic custodial procedures and ability to complete assigned tasks within work time
  • Ability to comprehend and execute both oral and written directives
  • Ability to lift and pull 60+ pounds
  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 60 pounds of force
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a part-time position (20 hours per week). Employees must be flexible and able to work any 8 hour shift within our regular business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The schedule follows a rotating pattern: two shifts during the first week and three shifts during the following week.
  • This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor’s diagnosis of disease.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Center which serves approximately 250 seniors daily
  • Ensures a safe/healthy environment, including cleaning and sanitizing all tables, chairs, restrooms, exercise room and equipment
  • Assist with serving lunch, the setup of activities and events, request supplies and equipment as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
