About The Position

The Building Services Technician will maintain the cleanliness of all internal facility space as well as the facilities external perimeter on a daily basis, under the direction of the Building Services Supervisors. There are varying hours and shifts available based on event related activity. Must be a team player and able to work nights and weekends, as needed. This role pays an hourly rate of $14.75-$19.75 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. Role is open through July 31, 2026 About the Venue The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center features a 12,500-seat arena, 34 luxury suites, 476 club seats, over 54,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space and an arena view restaurant, the Spotlight Grille. The arena is home to Florida State Men’s and Women’s basketball and is known for its electric atmosphere and fierce home court advantage. Requirements

Ability to follow instruction and direction.
Ability to have a flexible schedule based on events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Displaying a professional and highly motivated demeanor.
Ability to perform housekeeping in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Being a team player.
Being able to maintain the cleanliness throughout the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
Ability to vacuum, clean restrooms, wipe surfaces, change trash cans, and other cleaning functions as assigned.
Keeping all supply areas neat and stocked properly.
Pre-show and post-show cleaning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
