Requirements

Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, multiple times per day
Climb ladder, step and extension
Able to lift to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force
Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reach at shoulder level and below shoulder level
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a dust mask
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.

Responsibilities

Must be able to learn and perform all phases and functions of the blend plant area including all equipment and quality tests.
Maintain a high level of quality/sanitation including :( sifter/tailing reports, routine clothing maintenance, trailer inspection, and magnets inspection, plastic).
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
Must be able to maintain effective communications within your own departments and all other departments (Lab, office, warehouse, packers, mill and elevator).
Must be willing to be the final QA protection for Ardent Mills to the customer.
Must be able to inspect trailers and determine if condition is acceptable for loading.
Must be able to load bulk trailers, complying with all procedures and requirements.
Must be able to fill out and complete all required paperwork associated with loading and weighing.
Must be able to input all data associated with loading and weighing of bulk trailers.
Must be able to monitor and manage the sealing of trailers.
Must be able to perform all functions necessary to operate all equipment in the blend plant in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner.
Will be required to maintain assigned Food protection duties (Fpp).
Will be required to maintain qualifications as dictated by the Employee Classification procedures (ECP’s).
Will be responsible for blend performance and schedule adherence.
Will be required to maintain data to the rail and bulk trucks.
Will be required to load and track feed loads.
Safe operation for the forklift truck, including safety inspections and PM
Must proficiently know packing systems, flow and equipment
Must have mechanical aptitude
Bag dumping as needed
Quality testing as needed
Sanitation and safety inspections of trailers and equipment
Housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities as assigned
Record keeping including inventory, shift reports and bill of ladings
Must be able to complete Repair Day tasks and other minor repairs as needed
Scrub areas of buildings and equipment
Paint as needed and directed
Patch holes in walls/floors/ceilings left from former equipment removal
Clean and organize areas as assigned
