About The Position

CIG Logistics is a safety-first, technology-driven inventory company. We specialize in the transloading, storage, and inventory management of bulk commodities using systems that reduce errors, improve efficiency, and provide real-time inventory visibility.

This is a hands-on field position at our Sanford terminal. You’ll work with materials moving in and out by truck and rail in an industrial environment. This is not an office job.
This role is ideal for candidates with industrial, warehouse, rail, or terminal experience in the Sanford / Raleigh-Durham area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to work on your feet in an industrial environment
• Comfortable working around moving equipment
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse, rail, terminal, or industrial experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and safety

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and terminal procedures
• Load bulk trucks with correct product and legal weights
• Unload and load railcars
• Move material into assigned storage areas
• Operate terminal equipment safely (forklifts, conveyors, loaders)
• Use truck scale and systems to support accurate inventory tracking
• Perform basic equipment and site maintenance
• Keep the terminal clean, organized, and safe
• Complete required inventory and operational documentation
• Sample or verify product to support inventory accuracy and quality standards
• Interact professionally with drivers and visitors on site
• Operate in a way that protects people, product, and the environment
• Report issues to the Terminal Manager
• Help train new employees as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
