About The Position
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To assist and provide safe efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Ability to work with children with disabilities
- Ability to communicate with school administrators and public
- None
Responsibilities
- Monitor students in bus and secure all wheelchairs.
- Assist in filling out disciplinary reports.
- Keep bus clean.
- Assist substitute bus driver on routes.
- Observe safety procedures at all times and report any safety hazards.
- Attend in-service meetings.
- Follow McAllen ISD customer service standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor (primary evaluator).
