About The Position

Trinity Springs , a Cassia community, is hiring a Bus/ Van Driver to join our team in Oxford, FL . At Trinity Springs, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike. For this position, you will undergo a DOT physical and background screening to for monitoring of driver's license. As a Bus/ Van Driver you will drive a 15-passenger bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe driver with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule Wage Range: $14.50 - $17.00 / hour depending on experience Shifts Available: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with potential to drive outside of scheduled hours for residential events Location: 12120 Co Road 103, Oxford, Florida 34484

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • DOT Physical and background screening required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older due to federal DOT licensing requirements.
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working with persons with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
  • Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the bus for schedule resident and employee outings.
  • Complete proper documentation, including daily logs and quarterly reports.
  • Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
  • Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, etc.
  • Communicate with different sites regarding time and location of daily trips.
  • Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
  • Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
  • Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
