About The Position

The Business Administrative Intern will be responsible for supporting the Executive Management Team in a variety of ways for Surge Staffing. They will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in all areas the executive team handles and learn how they all play a big role in a growing organization. This includes but does not limit to working closely and being a liaison between the President, key executive staff, and employees, and deliver administrative support as well as project management in all tasks and responsibilities. This is a full-time (Monday - Friday) On-Site position that is for Surge Staffing HQ located in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

  • Rising junior or higher pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and sound judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Executive Assistants to provide support in their daily responsibilities
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
  • Conduct research and compile background information as needed
  • Maintain and track expense reports
  • Update and maintain organizational charts
  • Serve as a liaison between the President and other executives, employees, and stakeholders
  • Make on additional tasks or special projects to gain exposure to accounting and office operations
