We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst Intern to support projects that improve processes, systems, and data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, document workflows, and help deliver solutions that enhance business outcomes. Our internship program is designed to accelerate learning through meaningful projects, coaching, and exposure to real-world business practices. CHG’s internship program is designed to enhance student’s learning and growth, while providing an opportunity to meet educational curriculum requirements. Students will work on projects that allow them to think critically, create measurable goals and work independently.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of business analysis concepts (requirements gathering, process mapping, basic data analysis).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data quality.
  • Clear communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration mindset—comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and balancing priorities.
  • Organized and self-directed , with the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and ask clarifying questions.
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited college or university program (or recent graduate) pursuing Business, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Economics , or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or projects involving data analysis, process improvement, or systems are a plus.
  • Exposure to data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; experience with pivot tables and basic formulas) and/or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) preferred.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence/Jira, SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc. ) preferred.
  • Curiosity to optimize workflows , automate repetitive tasks, and improve documentation quality preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Support data collection, validation, and analysis; build basic reports or dashboards to track KPIs and insights.
  • Process Improvement: Map current-state processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and propose recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leaders to clarify needs, align expectations, and support solution delivery.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain organized process documentation and contribute to best-practices playbooks.
