About The Position

The SCSC Business Analyst supports the continued development and optimization of the Supply Chain Support Center (SCSC) within the upstream supply chain organization. This role focuses on improving operational workflows, increasing data visibility, and supporting the integration of new scopes and systems across the organization. The position plays a critical role in identifying data gaps, structuring fragmented information, and designing scalable solutions that enable better decision-making and operational transparency. The analyst will work closely with supply chain, wells, procurement, and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable data solutions

Requirements

  • Functional knowledge of unconventional wells operations including drilling, completions, or well services preferred.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to organize complex workflows and data sets.
  • Experience with process mapping and operational workflow analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and apply creative problem solving to deliver solutions in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interface management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency with data and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with change management and driving adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Understanding of supply chain operations and data integration concepts.

  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, agility, fit for duty

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred but not required: minimal coding experience such as Python, JavaScript, C++, or R.
  • Ability to interpret technical scopes and extract relevant information for unconventional supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and organize fragmented or missing data across supply chain processes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making and operational transparency.
  • Build and maintain data models and tools using platforms such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
  • Support and refine SCSC project integration timelines for new scopes, prioritizing based on activity, scope, and value.
  • Track and report SCSC statistics, implementation progress, risks, and challenges.
  • Conduct issue investigations and perform data mining to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze current workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on data trends.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and implement best practices across the organization.
  • Document new processes and create training materials to support broader team adoption.
  • Evaluate and support transitions to new task management and operational software.
  • Serve as a liaison between Supply Chain, Wells, Procurement, and EMIT teams as needed.
  • Facilitate alignment across teams by translating business needs into actionable data solutions.
  • Support change management efforts and help drive adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Lead or support special projects focused on operational excellence, cost optimization, and digital enablement.
  • Track project milestones, risks, and outcomes and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Lead process mapping across SCSC operations to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Evaluate existing systems and tools and recommend long-term solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with SCSC coordinators and leadership to enhance workflows and operational processes.
  • Facilitate training to promote continuous improvement and system adoption.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for process standards, system requirements, and best practices.
  • Support dashboard creation, reporting development, and data integration initiatives across supply chain systems
