Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, IT or related field or A equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed descriptions of user needs and identifies gaps in functionality between systems. Assist in developing solutions to eliminate gaps.
• Review computer system capabilities and workflow to recommend system modifications and enhancements.
• Assist with managing and coordinating task assignements of other business analysts.
• Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and improve production or workflow.
• Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel.
• Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Review software specifications and participate in writing software specifications.
• May be involved in the training and mentoring of other Business Analysts.
• Assist the user departments in implementing new systems and assist with maintaining and error correction after implementation.
• Night call may be required.
• Additional hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Travel as required.
