About The Position

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Business Analyst/Software Tester for one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

Requirements

TS Cleared.
Onsite 5 days a week.
Bachelor’s Degree.
5 years of work experience (including internships).
Knowledge of SQL and business/data analysis.
Experience with Agile framework and working on a Kanban or Scrum team.
Experience with creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA.
Application/software testing experience.
Experience with Agile, System testing, Scrum, Atlassian and Jira.
Clear written communication and documentation skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
Able to develop strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

Understand the application business processes for ~10 applications.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve T3 production support tickets and coordinate ticket resolution with developers.
Test bug fixes and enhancements before they are released to production.
Create and maintain test scripts.
Maintain ownership and tracking of stakeholder engagement meetings.
Act as a liaison between the developers and stakeholders (translate business requirements into technical requirements).
Create Jira stories with functional and technical requirements.
Contribute to keeping Jira board up to date.
Cover Scrum Master responsibilities when Scrum Master is OOO.
