Business Continuity Coordinator
About The Position
CUAnswers is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Business Continuity Coordinator to support and strengthen our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs. This role plays a key part in developing, maintaining, and coordinating documentation and recovery efforts across the organization, our partners, and client credit unions. What is CUAnswers? CUAnswers is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) that is owned by its credit union clients that we support. We offer a full suite of integrated solutions to these credit unions that allow them to serve their members. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- 1–2 years of office experience, preferably in IT or business continuity
- Strong project management, organization, and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
- Willingness to travel as needed (locally and nationally)
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Regular and reliable attendance
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in a business or IT-related field preferred
- Familiarity with basic information security and system recovery concepts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and publish Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery documentation
- Create procedural guides, policies, templates, flowcharts, and reports
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and documenting rollover and recovery events
- Gather and consolidate information from staff, vendors, and clients into BC/DR plans
- Support project coordination for internal initiatives and client engagements
- Schedule meetings, track project progress, and follow up on action items
- Apply independent judgment to manage competing priorities and sensitive information
