Our Strategic Deterrence & Missile Defense (SDMD) Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabilities (MSAC) organization is seeking a Business Development Analyst Sr Stf to support the Alabama program under the Missile Defense Mission Area. Reporting to the Alabama Capture Manager, the team member will support Keep Sold and Growth efforts for high visibility program, and support strategy and business development activities specific to the program. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for: Supporting the Keep Sold and Growth of the portfolio including executing and continuously developing stakeholder engagement plan and supporting material Working shoulder to shoulder with the Capture Manager, Lockheed Martin Government Affairs (LMGA), Program Team and functional organizations to showcase discriminating OneLM offerings to our customers in applicable mission domains. Assessing customer strategic capability gap requirements and developing compelling narratives around advanced technology solutions, affordability, and mission utility Supporting a new business portfolio to achieve and exceed LRP goals Working hand in hand with the LMGA team to track the Alabama Budget activities in the yearly DoW Acquisition process, develop white-papers, create presentations, and represent our team in Congressional and stakeholder engagements. As required, communicating with and engaging the SMD Line of Business, LM Space senior leadership, and program executive leaders for the purpose of engaging internal stakeholders, obtaining approvals and building advocacy for growth plans and pursuits. Creating presentations, executive talking points, and marketing material to optimally communicate discriminating solutions, affordability, and mission relevance and to stakeholders across the missile defense landscape. Mentoring junior members of the team as needed. Ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically as needed.

Requirements

  • Industry-applicable B.A. or B.S. degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in Aerospace and Defense
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively collaborate, drive change, and exhibited leadership skills
  • Strong presentation development and delivery skills
  • Ability to use MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and other MS Office tools, with ability to create executive level presentations
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with Capture and/or Business Development
  • Ability to interact confidently with peers, executives, both internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the US DoW Acquisition system
  • Active Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Knowledge of the US missile defense mission and enabling kill chain, US missile defense stakeholders, adjacent stakeholder landscape, core programs, and enabling technologies
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and tailor material and messages to a variety of audiences
  • Previous DoW or Aerospace & Defense Business Development experience
  • Team player, positive attitude, bridge builder who can both follow and lead effectively

Responsibilities
