About The Position

The Business Development Intern position is a key part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. In this role, you will work alongside the Business Development team to manage and scale strategic partnerships that drive Roblox’s global reach and revenue. You will help bridge the gap between our platform and major global partners, including app stores and social platforms.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Business, Economics, Communications, Finance or a related field.
  • A passion and curiosity for how platforms (like app stores and social/video sites) can be used to create novel commercial opportunities.
  • An analytical and collaborative mindset while managing the needs of multiple partners and projects at the same time
  • A focus on achieving the goals you set out to accomplish for your company and the partners you manage
  • A desire to be part of a company that is the largest social platform for human co-experience in the world

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development leads in daily workflows, participate in partner meetings, and help facilitate strategic objectives and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, DevRel, Product, Business Operations, Finance, and Data Science teams to identify new creative opportunities that improve discovery for our users and creators.
  • Help drive the creation of Quarterly Business Review decks for partners by synthesizing account performance, growth trends, and partner insights for internal and external stakeholders, while providing logistical support for partner engagements including deck building, reporting analysis, and pitch development for new initiatives.
  • Improve the execution of partner activities by creating kick-off briefs, maintaining project plans, and tracking milestones to ensure goals are met, while establishing program management guidelines for partner programs (e.g., TikTok, Twitch Drops).
  • Assist the BD team in conducting due diligence, competitive intelligence, and building business cases that support global deal negotiations and inform the product roadmap.
