As a Business Development Manager, you will own and execute the go-to-market strategy for autonomous agriculture solutions. This role requires a proven business builder with deep agricultural industry knowledge, established relationships, and credibility within the agriculture vertical.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in agricultural equipment sales, ag-tech, farm management solutions, or precision agriculture.
  • Proven track record of developing new business, closing complex deals, and managing strategic accounts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both executive and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation, deal structuring, and long-term relationship building.
  • Experience working in dynamic, cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with robotics, autonomy, or agriculture technology is strongly preferred.
  • Skilled in using CRM platforms for sales tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing effectively across multiple initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.

  • Familiarity with robotics, autonomy, or agriculture technology is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand ASI's presence in agricultural autonomy and precision farming technology.
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with growers, farm operators, agricultural contractors, equipment dealers, OEMs, and ag-tech integrators.
  • Maintain deep understanding of customer needs, labor challenges, operational constraints, and technical requirements in agricultural environments.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle-from lead generation to contract closure-using ASI's CRM tools.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline while ensuring consistent deal flow and forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns, collateral, and demos with customer needs and market trends.
  • Deliver compelling, ROI-focused presentations tailored to executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Foster and manage long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure continued customer success and loyalty.
  • Represent ASI at trade shows, conferences, and technical demos to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to relay market feedback and help shape product strategy.
