About The Position

The Budd Group is looking for a powerhouse Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in the Music City! We don’t just offer jobs; we offer a family atmosphere with a deep-rooted community focus.

As our BDM, you aren't just selling a service; you're selling a partnership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, consistently meeting or exceeding annual quotas.
• A history of involvement in professional associations and a strong local networking presence.
• You are as comfortable delivering a boardroom presentation as you are writing a detailed proposal.
• You know how to navigate complex sales cycles and cross the finish line.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check/drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Research, prospect, and secure face-to-face presentations with high-level decision-makers and influencers.
• Use a consultative approach to identify client pain points and develop complex, value-added proposals and pricing models.
• Be the "boots on the ground" at trade shows, corporate events, and networking activities across the Nashville region.
• Use Salesforce.com to track your activity and keep your pipeline flowing.
• Work hand-in-hand with our operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from "sold" to "satisfied."
