About The Position

In this role, you will spearhead revenue growth in the media and entertainment sector while collaborating with the CEO to design effective business strategies. This opportunity allows you to shape new business initiatives and directly engage with C-suite executives, translating complex data insights into actionable business outcomes. Your leadership will drive a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and cultivating lasting client relationships, all while working remotely within US time zones.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of quota-carrying sales experience in data or analytics.
  • Experience building or scaling a sales function in a growth-stage company.
  • Deep understanding of the entertainment industry and streaming economics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with analysts and marketing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the new business function: build the strategy, pipeline, team, and playbook that drive revenue growth.
  • Close enterprise deals by understanding prospect business goals and demonstrating how data delivers results.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract signing.
  • Develop relationships with senior executives in the media and entertainment landscape.
  • Champion new products by presenting the full value proposition to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with Product to relay market feedback and shape the roadmap.
  • Partner with the CEO to define hiring priorities and team structure.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records in the company's CRM.
