Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in business development or direct sales, specifically within industrial markets such as automotive coatings, chemicals, or manufacturing solutions.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex sales cycles, managing technical product portfolios, and building long-term relationships with industrial clients.
  • A high school diploma is required
  • Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility for travel and customer site visits.
  • Candidates must be insurable for driving and thrive in both office and field environments.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that drive regional sales growth, aggressive revenue targets, multi‑segment expansion, and new customer acquisition across commercial, defense, and industrial markets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new market opportunities by aligning customer needs with technology investments, product roadmaps, and long‑term business objectives.
  • Conduct consistent weekly account prospecting while strengthening relationships with key accounts through onsite visits, calls, presentations, and participation in industry events and networking engagements.
  • Oversee the development, launch, and commercialization of new products and technologies, ensuring alignment with market demand, profitability goals, and successful customer conversion and onboarding.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships by ensuring account performance, supporting investment proposals, maintaining product knowledge, and actively engaging in continuous learning, team development, and industry best practices.
