About The Position

Join Point Solutions Group and our Federal Services Team supporting major space and defense work! JOB SUMMARY: Provide resource management support to HQ STARCOM FM PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide yearly financial execution support to HQ STARCOM/FM and its subordinate units. Enable STARCOM awareness of financial position and ability to execute budgetary actions based on technical feasibility, as well as financial and program performance. Offer direct financial management support to HQ STARCOM/FM for RDT&E and O&M equities. Draft and review execution plans, provide weekly financial reports, and process/review purchase requests within DEAMS and legacy financial systems. Deliver travel reports from the Defense Travel System to supported HQ directorates. Perform financial analysis for current and future year budgets. Support data calls from SAF/FM, HAF/TE, and USSF financial offices. Brief USSF/TE leadership and HAF/TE on funding and execution status weekly. Coordinate with SPOs and other Government activities on funds execution, obligations/expenditures, and CCaR System Reconciliation. Formulate other financial-related documents that justify funding requirements. Assist with POM options. Support data entry into and analysis of data generated by the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System. Execute support in accordance with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) protocols and standards. Brief senior leadership and decision-makers through corporate processes. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience in initiating and/or developing Government-specified content for USSF programs. Experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis, and recommendations for mission and program challenges. Proficiency with Automated Budget Interactive Data Environment System (ABIDES), Financial Management Suite (FM Suite), Commander's Resource Integrated System (CRIS), Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management (DEAMS) software, Program and Budget Execution System (PBES), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) system, and/or other financial accounting systems/tools. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BA/BS or MA/MS desired SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret / SCI

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in initiating and/or developing Government-specified content for USSF programs.
  • Experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis, and recommendations for mission and program challenges.
  • Proficiency with Automated Budget Interactive Data Environment System (ABIDES), Financial Management Suite (FM Suite), Commander's Resource Integrated System (CRIS), Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management (DEAMS) software, Program and Budget Execution System (PBES), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) system, and/or other financial accounting systems/tools.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS desired
  • Top Secret / SCI security clearance
