About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst enables the Fredrick Health Enterprise Analytics mission by delivering timely, high-quality data and analytics to meet enterprise-level priorities, increasing organizational data literacy through enterprise analytics capabilities, and providing support for Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts, department-level analysts, and other assigned tasks and projects Collaborate with other BI Analysts in the performance of duties prioritized by the Data Governance Office (DGO). Support BI Analysts II and above to train and support Data Stewards to enable the delivery of comprehensive consultative customer service through data quality, querying, and data tool creation and delivery. Responsible for reviewing and completing assigned tasks and providing timely communication to BI Analysts II or above and the Director of Enterprise Analytics. Following Data Governance principles through requirements analysis, data review and validation, and quality analysis. Requires a high level of communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience with organizational tools including Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence tools, including SSRS and Power BI.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in health sciences, statistics/mathematics, information technology, or a healthcare business related field.
  • 3-5 years data experience (healthcare preferred) with an understanding of operational processes, clinical, financial, and administrative data, systems, and workflows
  • Minimum 1-3 years of conducting requirements analysis, data review and validation, and quality analysis working with data stewards.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise analytics and customer service collaborating with functional and technical data stewards in delivering analytics and actionable insight.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in data management activities including enterprise data cataloging, data governance and data quality, reporting and visualization solutions, and validation and reporting against enterprise analytics datamarts and solutions.
  • Demonstrated principles and concepts of data governance with other EA analysts, the Data Governance Office, IT teams, data stewards, and data providers.

  • Familiarity with Meditech, Premier analytics tools, and other software a plus.
