About The Position

This position plays a critical role in transforming enterprise data into actionable insights across a geographically distributed, multi‑location organization. The Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead is responsible for designing, delivering, and governing enterprise‑grade analytics solutions using Microsoft Databricks and Power BI/Fabric. This role combines hands‑on development expertise with technical leadership, ensuring high‑quality data models, scalable analytics solutions, GenBI solutions, and alignment to business strategy. The Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead partners closely with stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership to translate business needs into trusted, actionable insights. This is a hands-on, individual contributor technical leadership role. The position partners closely with Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and Executive Leadership to deliver trusted, high-impact analytics. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level Power BI solutions
  • 2+ years of experience in Azure databricks and/or Fabric
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Databricks, SQL, python, and data modeling
  • Strong experience in integrating data from multiple enterprise systems
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-entity organization.
  • Experience with license and cost management within PowerBI.
  • Experience with accessibility models e.g. App access, Entra data securities, etc.
  • Experience in large, complex, or highly distributed organizations ($500M+ revenue)
  • Familiarity with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of financial, operational, and workforce analytics
  • Experience with data governance and scalable BI architectures
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, automated static reports, and data models for enterprise and field-level users
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, intuitive, and actionable visualizations
  • Apply best practices in data storytelling, usability, and performance optimization
  • Experience in both Azure Databricks & Fabric for data ingestion and transformations
  • Build and maintain robust data models using Databricks python, SQL, etc. with GenBI and scalable insight solutions in mind
  • Strategize, partner, and develop GenBI solutions including but not limited to data chat bots, predictive models, etc.
  • Guide Microsoft Power BI license and infrastructure setup
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including Service Titan (ERP and CRM), Intacct (Finance), UKG (HR), third party marketing data, and operational platforms
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across a multi-entity environment. Develop data monitoring methodologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and success measures aligned to enterprise goals
  • Support executive-level reporting, forecasting, and performance management initiatives
  • Enable self-service analytics while maintaining governance and data integrity
  • Futuristic thinking of how to build and incorporate predictive analytics
  • Implement data governance, Entra and row-level security, and access controls across locations and business units
  • Optimize report performance and manage dataset refresh schedules
  • Document data definitions, models, and reporting standards
  • Collaborate with data engineers, IT, and business teams to improve data pipelines and analytics maturity
  • Stay current on Power BI enhancements, data visualization trends, and analytics best practices
  • Recommend improvements to reporting processes and enterprise analytics strategy
