Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics Resource Intern- Summer 2026
About The Position
Location: Chicago, IL or New York City, NY This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week , fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. A Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics Resource Intern is responsible for architecting a reporting system that connects ServiceNow raw data (and other data sources) to Power BI or Tableau. The Intern will deliver automated visualizations and formatted reports for stakeholder decision-making.
Requirements
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 18th- August 7th).
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in information technology, data analytics, data science or related field.
- Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements.
- For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.
Nice To Haves
- BI Tools: Expert in Power BI (DAX/M) or Tableau (Desktop/Cloud).
- Data/SQL: Advanced SQL and database management.
- Analytics: Strong ability to translate raw data into business insights.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline Management: Architect data extraction from ServiceNow (and other data sources) to BI tools via API/ODBC.
- Visualization: Build dashboards (bar, line, pie) and formatted Excel/table reports.
- Automation: Enable "instant download" and automated email report delivery as needed.
- Governance: Ensure data accuracy and optimize query performance.
