About The Position

Overview The position of Intern will perform duties relative to their department to assist in achieving the overall goals of the Bank. The role will require some essential functions to be performed independently, however, the incumbent will often be expected to work in a team environment as well. Responsibilities Work with the Business Intelligence team to support the daily operations. Participate in meetings and contribute to Data Governance, Data Management and Business Intelligence Initiatives. Assist BI Team members in developing, maintaining, testing and debugging BI Solutions. Assist in inventorying critical data, documenting business rules for quality and profiling the data, and implementing systematic monitoring to proactively identify issues impacting data quality. Create documentation on data flows, processes and procedures. Assist in creating and maintaining operational SQL reports. Complete training courses to gain experience and proficiency in using data analytics tools. Performs a wide variety of tasks depending on the departmental assignment. These functions may encompass providing technical or customer support, administrative responsibilities or other tasks related to the department operations or programs. Builds understanding of the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and/or all other aspects of service. Proactively engages with team and other internal departments to understand business responsibilities and goals. Learns and becomes familiar with internal systems and software. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Students entering their Junior or Senior year of college
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customers
  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis for any employer without restriction
  • Visa Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Nice To Haves

  • Previous employment experience in a bank, accounting or finance environment is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and experience preferred
