About The Position

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will possess expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and LLM-based conversational analytics and will design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization and AI-powered insights solutions. This developer will combine data analytics expertise with generative AI capabilities to create interactive, real-time, and conversational BI tools that enable users to derive insights through natural language interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field. Req
• 2+ years of experience in BI development using Power BI (both Power BI and Tableau Preferred
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Experience gathering customer feedback and translating them from functional requirements into tangible solutions

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and AI-driven analytics tools. Preferred
• Strong background in BI development, data engineering, AI-driven analytics, and cloud-based data platforms. Preferred
• Power BI & Tableau: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, LOD expressions, calculated fields, and application configurations. Preferred
• Experience in Generative AI-based data exploration.
• ChatGPT & AI Integration: Experience with OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, and prompt engineering. Preferred
• ETL and ELT: Strong ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets. Preferred
• Familiarity with LangChain and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for AI-powered BI solutions.
• Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts, SQL, and data modeling. Preferred
• Data Engineering: Strong SQL, Python, and API development experience. Preferred
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS and Databricks. Preferred
• Ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations, customer behavior, or market dynamics Preferred
• Willingness and ability to stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence Preferred
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Preferred

Responsibilities

• BI Dashboard Development & Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
• Implement DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for advanced data modeling in Power BI.
• Use Tableau Prep and Tableau Server for data preparation, automation, and dashboard deployment.
• Optimize dashboard performance, ensuring fast query execution and refresh rates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support administration of user accounts and permissions for PowerBI and Tableau.
• Participate in server upgrade testing.
• LLM-Based Conversational Analytics and AI Integration: Integrate ChatGPT with BI tools to enable natural language-based data exploration.
• Develop AI-powered chat interfaces that allow users to query dashboards via text and voice.
• Implement custom GPT-based models for business-specific reporting and analytics insights.
• Train and fine-tune ChatGPT models to improve accuracy, relevance, and contextual understanding.
• Integrate ChatGPT APIs with Power BI and Tableau for seamless conversational analytics.
• Work with OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock for AI model deployment.
• Leverage Python and SQL to preprocess, clean, and transform data for AI-driven insights.
• Data Governance, Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, compliance, and governance in BI reports and AI-driven applications.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for dashboards and AI-generated insights.
• Maintain data quality through automated validation and anomaly detection.
• Business Insights & Stakeholder Collaboration Work with business leaders, analysts, and AI teams to define KPIs and data-driven goals.
• Conduct training sessions on self-service BI and AI-powered analytics.
• Translate business needs into intuitive BI solutions and AI-driven insights.
