Business Intelligence Manager Overview: The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is responsible for transforming company data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role oversees the development of dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and data analytics that empower leadership, sales, operations, and finance teams to make data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing) to define key metrics and reporting needs. Build and maintain scalable data models and automated reporting systems. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across internal reporting systems. Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for leadership. Manage BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Salesforce reporting, SQL databases). Lead and mentor BI analysts or data team members as the team grows. Support forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic planning initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through data analysis and automation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.). Experience working with CRM systems and operational data sources (e.g., Salesforce). Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing analysts or leading cross-functional analytics initiatives preferred.
