About The Position

As a Business Intelligence Power BI Report Developer, you transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. You partner closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements, build impactful dashboards, and deliver trusted reporting. Your work enables leaders across the organization to monitor key performance indicators and take timely, informed action.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in business intelligence or data-specific roles using BI tools, including significant hands-on work with Power BI
6+ years of experience with SQL querying, data modeling, data warehousing, and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) or similar analytics technologies
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Power BI solutions, including dashboards, dataflows, row-level security, and paginated reports
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and explain complex analytics in clear, non-technical language
Experience working in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement and iterative delivery
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Nice To Haves

Experience optimizing Power BI performance, including model tuning and report load-time improvements
Background working with business stakeholders on KPI design and enterprise reporting standards
Experience with other business intelligence or data visualization tools in addition to Power BI
Familiarity with software development lifecycles and solution architecture for analytics platforms

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI
Create and maintain Power BI dataflows, measures, calculated columns, and detailed analytics in support of business needs
Implement row-level security, tabular models, and other multidimensional data models to ensure accurate and secure data access
Design and develop paginated reports that meet enterprise reporting and regulatory requirements
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including solution design and implementation timelines
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and ongoing performance measurement
Analyze complex data sets and present findings through reports and visualizations that support decision-making
Enhance and optimize existing business intelligence solutions by redefining data models, calculations, and visualizations based on feedback and performance
