About The Position

Under general supervision, provides administrative support to the Morenci Recreation Center management and staff.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a Business/Office Manager role
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for computer skills including Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, website management software, and social media
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing initiatives and logistics support for Recreation Center events as needed
  • Develop and coordinate internal staff and member program communications, such as morencitown.com, website management, Facebook page, etc.
  • Assist in trending and reporting activities as requested including generating and analyzing reports in regards to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Morenci Recreation Center
  • Interpret established policy and provide information for the resolution of problems and coordinate compliance training requirements
  • Assist with the purchasing of program and facility supplies within the planned budget
  • Coordinate and prepare a wide variety of financial and operational reports including the collection and presentation of budget data
  • Maintain agreements with vendors including contract management, building services, and facility management
  • May act as Supervisor to include managing the facility while the Supervisor Recreation Center is out
  • Perform other duties as required
