Job Description
This position will either reside in Michigan and the candidate must be able to work from their home (no formal office for Gibbs in Michigan), or it will be located in Henderson, KY, and the candidate must be able to consistently coordinate activities and assignments with the VP of Sales who resides in Michigan. A basic understanding of die casting and/or machining is preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Marketing & Business Administration Manager
DIVISION: North America
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
MISSION:
Manage the daily marketing initiatives and business administration responsibilities for the global sales group including key interface with other departments within Gibbs and with key customer contacts.
ESSENTIAL GOALS, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage the contract review process and develop/maintain a data base for tracking customer contracts, POs, Terms & Conditions (T&Cs), Service parts, etc.
* Manage the data tracking for key program documentation including Statement of Requirements (SORs), technical requirements, DVP&R testing, etc.
* Actively manage the forecasting of program volumes, SOP, EOP, program mix, customer cycle plans, customer program codes/model names, 3 year and 5 year forecasts, industry inventory tracking, Top 10 programs by forecast, etc.
* Actively manage customer Long-term Agreements (LTAs), cost downs, price ups, etc.
* Work with other Gibbs groups (i.e. Accounting, Finance, and Operations) regarding tracking and resolution for open commercial items and resolution.
* Work with the VP of Sales and other sales staff regarding annual budget process
* Develop updated Brand and related outputs including web-site updates, Logos, social media considerations, exhibition booth elements and signage, etc.
* Develop and maintain updated and relevant marketing materials including PowerPoint modules and presentation, brochures, etc.
* Track and report out on key industry news regarding the die casting industry, automotive industry, trends, etc.
* Support the VP of Sales & Marketing with trade shows, seminars, exhibition booths, customer tech shows, supplier conferences, etc.
* Establish relationships with key contacts at target customers regarding POs, metal market adjustment, etc.
* Follows all Policy and Safety regulations including proper use of all required personal protective equipment.
* Follows all Quality and Environmental guidelines.
* Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition according to Gibbs 7-S Guidelines.
* Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (or technical equivalent), Business or Marketing required.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
Travel: This position will either reside in Michigan and the candidate must be able to work from their home (no formal office for Gibbs in Michigan), or it will be located in Henderson, KY, and the candidate must be able to consistently coordinate activities and assignments with the VP of Sales who resides in Michigan. A basic understanding of die casting and/or machining is preferred. An understanding of automotive terms, contract terms, and a strong business acumen is preferred.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills is a key requirement.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. MS Project is preferred.

* Demonstrated ability to work independently
* Ability to travel to Gibbs customers as well as to Gibbs production/corporate facilities in Henderson, KY. Ability to occasionally travel internationally to support Business Development as requested.
* Good driving record; ability to drive extended periods of time.
* Ability to multi-task and manage a diverse workload of responsibilities.
