The Business Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining and reconciling Resident Trust Accounts and Billing Medicaid. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a long term care environment
  • Healthcare billing experience, preferably in a long term care setting
  • Good organization skills and a quick learner
  • Strong basic computer skills and a willingness to provide support in a learning environment

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll experience also a plus

Responsibilities

  • Verifying/Billing all types of Insurance for center clients
  • Maintain Census documentation
  • File all company paperwork
  • Maintain understanding of State Notices
  • Maintain and Reconcile Resident Trust Account
  • Cash Posting
  • Have/show respect towards residents and maintain their trust
