About The Position

Visit.org is a highly analytical and execution-oriented Business Operations Associate to drive operational excellence across the organization. This role is responsible for understanding how work actually happens, identifying inefficiencies, redesigning processes, and ensuring successful adoption through measurable outcomes. You will partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across operations, customer success, product, and delivery teams to translate operational challenges into scalable solutions. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, consulting, project management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience conducting interviews, gathering requirements, or mapping processes
  • Ability to manage projects from concept through implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without authority
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, shadowing, and workshops to understand current workflows and pain points
  • Map and document end-to-end processes (handoffs, ownership, tooling, and dependencies)
  • Analyze operational data to quantify inefficiencies, errors, cycle times, and cost drivers
  • Perform root-cause analysis and prioritize improvement opportunities based on impact vs effort
  • Design redesigned workflows, SOPs, and operating playbooks that improve scalability and reliability
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement automation or tooling improvements
  • Lead rollout of new processes, including training, communication, and change management
  • Monitor adoption and compliance, addressing resistance and refining processes as needed
  • Measure post-implementation performance against baseline metrics and report outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, dashboards, and ongoing optimization initiatives
