About The Position

The Business Operations Coordinator role is responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization by improving processes, enhancing cross-functional coordination, and supporting strategic initiatives. This position partners with leadership and functional teams to analyze business performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions that enable scalable, efficient growth. The Business Operations professional plays a critical role in aligning people, processes, and systems to support organizational objectives while ensuring consistency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, sales support, or a related function.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in operational tools and technologies, including Microsoft office (with focus on Planner and Excel) and ERP Systems (preference for Epicor).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with business operations tools and technology platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to support decision-making.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to support and facilitate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards, including food safety/quality assurance (FSQA), and the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Must have valid drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to process improvement, data analysis, or reporting in a business operations context is a plus.
  • Experience in food, CPG, or retail industries is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of business operations functions to meet the needs of our growing customer base. This is including but not limited to order processing, invoicing, billback/deduction validation, and shipping coordination.
  • Assist in coordinating category operations and activities, providing support to internal teams and specialists.
  • Help maintain and update business operations tools and technologies to ensure accurate and efficient workflows.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication with vendors and internal stakeholders to support operational processes and technology requirements.
  • Schedule and manage external communications regarding order updates, organizational developments, and new product launches.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly sales or operations meetings, providing updates, notes, and follow-up actions as needed.
  • Track, report, and escalate any issues related to food safety/quality assurance (FSQA) to leadership, ensuring compliance with FSQA standards.
  • Support process improvements and operational initiatives by gathering data, monitoring performance, and assisting with project execution.
