As a Business Process Analyst III, you will identify and analyze processes and develop short and long term solutions for business needs to improve performance and lead organizational change activities. You will aide in testing and implement new software applications, provide technology and process consultation while using data analytics tools and applications to meet business needs. As part of the Asset Analytics team within Operations Support Services, you will be part of a team turning operational data into insights that improve reliability, cost, and decision‑making for Operations, Maintenance Services, and other support teams. You will develop and support analytics that provide clear visibility into operating conditions, equipment performance, and asset health, helping the business understand what is happening—and why. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics and emerging AI capabilities to support condition‑based and predictive maintenance initiatives. Your work will help drive consistent data standards, improve data quality, and deliver trusted, actionable insights across our fleet of assets. This role provides a strong opportunity to deepen your understanding of operational processes while growing your analytics skillset through hands‑on exposure to real‑world equipment data and close partnership with Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related major and five (5) years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years’ experience in data analysis, project management, process improvement, or other related experience
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with analytics languages (i.e. SQL, Python, etc.) and platforms (i.e. Power BI, Microsoft Access, Oracle, and etc.)
  • Proficiency with process mapping and value stream mapping

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes existing business processes; assists with developing sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
  • Assists with process improvement opportunities, researches and develops operational standards and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased efficiency and reduced costs
  • Applies data analysis and technological skills to fulfil data analysis requests, produce metric reports, and support business decisions using data
  • Collaborates with multiple company partners to ensure organizational alignment and project success
  • Assists in development of change management activities
  • Strong data analytics skills combined with effective analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Support existing Aveva PI based analytics and reports, continuously improving utilization and user experience
  • Provide direct support to Operations for operational data requests and insights
  • Utilize existing capabilities and explore new tools that deliver value to users
  • Collaborate with users to create new enterprise wide analytic opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned
