About the Job JPI is seeking an Business Process & Automation Intern to support initiatives focused on business process documentation, process improvement, and digital enablement. This role is ideal for a student who is curious, communicative, and interested in how automation, AI, and digital tools can improve the way work gets done. This internship is a hands-on learning experience. The intern will work closely with business and technology teams to understand how JPI operates, document current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist with the development of digital and automation solutions—primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem. Our internship program is an opportunity to meaningfully contribute to JPI while at the same time having a diverse and fast-paced learning experience with an industry leader. This is a part-time position and pay is hourly. The intern will be working in our Dallas office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or pursuing Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering, Math or related field.
  • This is an entry level position, but prior coursework or internships involving data engineering, coding, statistics, economics, finance and real estate are important factors.

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Documentation & Discovery
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand current processes
  • Document as-is processes and create process maps
  • Ask questions to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Process Improvement & Digital Enablement
  • Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Assist with to-be process design
  • Support automation and low-code solutions
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in meetings and walkthroughs
  • Communicate progress clearly
  • Learning & Adoption Support
  • Use Microsoft tools including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform
  • Assist with training and documentation
  • Gather user feedback
  • Other duties as assigned
