About The Position

The Business Process Management Intern will participate in numerous facets of the transportation process with in North American footprint. They will take part in the various business areas, including but not limited to: planning, fleet and parcel management, freight payment, as well as conducting data analysis.

Requirements

  • Pursuing four-year college degree, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain or another related field
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Access, Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence system.
  • Intermediate user in other MS Office Applications.
  • Python, SQL, R, VBA
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to leverage data to make business decisions.
  • Goal-oriented, motivated, and committed to ongoing self-development.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, Analysis and Reporting: Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards that demonstrate strong understanding of Power BI development, referential table design, and data modeling principles, while applying Python where applicable to support data preparation, transformation, and analysis
  • Application modeling data such as tariffs, transportation and service level modeling.
  • Utilizing the transportation management system plan orders from various locations utilizing the least cost carrier to meet customer needs.
  • Work with the team to uphold carrier KPIs.
  • Participate in carrier business reviews.
  • Work with shareholders on various projects.
  • Other duties as required
