About The Position

At Oleon, we believe strong financial processes are the foundation for reliable business decisions. As BUSINESS PROCESS OWNER – accounting, you take end-to-end ownership of our global accounting processes, ensuring they run efficiently, consistently and in line with both business and compliance requirements.

In this role, you focus on strengthening and harmonizing accounting processes across our entities. Working closely with finance teams, IT and key users, you ensure that systems and processes operate seamlessly while supporting Oleon’s ongoing transformation initiatives.

You define the process vision within the accounting domain, set clear standards and translate business needs into structured and sustainable solutions, helping ensure that Oleon’s financial processes remain reliable, scalable and future proof.

In this role, you work closely with the global finance community to further strengthen Oleon’s accounting processes and financial governance.

Requirements

• You hold a master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• You have solid experience in accounting processes such as general ledger or financial closing processes.
• You have experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and understand how financial processes translate into system functionality.
• You are comfortable reviewing functional specifications, validating system designs and supporting testing activities.
• You combine strong analytical skills with a structured mindset and attention to detail.
• You can work with multiple stakeholders across finance, IT and business teams in an international environment.
• You communicate fluently in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing and improving global accounting processes across areas such as general ledger and fixed assets, ensuring consistency across entities and systems.
• Reviewing functional specifications and validating system designs to ensure business requirements are translated into effective solutions.
• Coordinating and supporting testing activities and approving results before implementation.
• Acting as a key interface between finance, IT and external partners, ensuring alignment throughout projects and process improvements.
• Contributing to transformation initiatives and system integrations that strengthen Oleon’s accounting processes.
• Monitoring process performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
