About The Position

Business Professional Intern Associate Recruiting Jackson Walker recognizes the importance of providing hands-on experience and career development opportunities for students interested in law firm business operations. Our internship program will provide students with exposure to various facets of business operations, foster talent development and potential future employment opportunities. The Associate Recruiting Intern provides hands-on administrative and operational support within the Associate Recruiting department at Jackson Walker. This role offers exposure to professional services operations within a large law firm environment and supports day-to-day activities, projects, and initiatives while developing foundational professional skills. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Current college student, or post-graduate student (within two years of graduation).
  • Coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred, or demonstrated interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or the legal industry.
  • Proficiency with Canva and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily departmental operations, projects, and administrative tasks.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports or presentations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and observations.
  • Collaborate with team members on short-term and ongoing assignments.
  • Attend firm orientation and departmental overview sessions.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of firm, client, and personnel information.
